Thailand, Myanmar and Laos 2015 - Day 1 & 2

The long semester break is here. Like finally, three weeks of holiday only before that and so much of studying. Couldn't imagine the working days in a few more years to come without real long break. Even that working in the office for 8 hours only had kinda made me mad. I wouldn't mind if it is just 3 hours..

Ignoring those work, there are so many to do during this holiday yet procrastination will also pull you back some times. I always have a topic or scene in my head to take those kind of photos but it is hard to really put in effort and time to do so..always have some things that will ruin the mood even in this holiday. It sucks.

But managed to go to 3 more Asean countries in this holiday is quite fun. So as usual showing pictures is much better to express what i saw most.

Ps : The whole trip i had been using manual mode on my 18-55 mm only, due to the gear had spoiled and i'm lazy to change the lens.

So Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai first.

The first meal in Chiang Mai. Not really sure what are they called, all i know is they are for four person in each basket. They had refill of drumsticks too.

This restaurant have some stage for some dancing while we are eating. It is said to be the olden times where there is a performance while the king eats.

Exterior decos

The hotel lobby of Empress Hotel. Too bad the hotel have no free WiFi.

Out to the streets of Chiang Mai Night Bazaar.
To me it is not that big and not that many choices of shirts and food as compared to Taiwan and even Malaysia.
But it is much more safer in Chiang Mai!

The outside view of a red tuk tuk ( Red taxi ) Much more worth it if in a group about 20 baht per person.

DAY 2

Starting off to a orchid farm. There's so many orchid that could never be found in Malaysia! It is said that if got caught plucking one of the orchid will be fined 50000 baht ( if not mistaken ) and jailed at least 1 year.

All of these orchid to bloom needed at least a year.

A small area for butterfly farm.

Next : To the Elephant park!

I took the elephant ride but it was too bumpy.. so no pictures of it but there is ox cart ride when we go back to the entrance

Nearby there was a hill tribe living there.
The picture below is one of the tribes which they believe wearing the rings on the legs will make it slimmer and more pretty.

Making scarfs for some extra income

Around their living area

One of the few existing long neck tribe

The man or husband will work mostly as farmers or as craftsmen

Next : TO the snake show and monkey show

TWO REAL COBRAS

Such balls he got there..

Some venom

One of the restaurant. Most of their restaurant serve more like a Chinese dishes. Not really sure whether it is already been this way or due to the growing Chinese from China visiting.

First is gone

First semester for me is over!!!!! After 14 weeks wow. Oh well now just need to wait for the results! Hopefully it is good. Next sem might be just torturing for me. Really hope it isn't and i can cope with it. Sigh.. After high school, so many things i love to do is just a dim light shining now. For example photography. Didn't know what to take or having the time to take photos. Seems like when there is no events, i will not have any motive to take photos. Luckily the last year of my high school I managed to participate in more. Well, missing those times in school being so free. Really couldn't imagine after 5 years, it is time for me to work already. There is no break time for life huh? Just hoping that everything will go well. Godspeed godspeed. Nothing to blog for few weeks now.

Also realize that many uses money to show off their skills.

Unexpected that this will happen to me

Today, 26/2/2015, a day for me to remember and be grateful of my LIFE. It was always starting as a casual day, going back home by KTM just this week alone. The first day of sitting alone had made me being very alert of surrounding as i felt that i might get robbed. Yeah, superstitions. I kept looking around me not even dare to take my phone out to check the time. I even acted like a weirdo looking every detail of other people but then today it happened.

After stopping at KL Sentral, i was frustrated as the usual 10 mins per train had delayed for 20 mins. I'm having a twisted ankle and have to wait so long kinda make me angry. I thought of sitting down sat a bench at the last cart after awhile standing. I turned back. I saw a blind man..kinda feel sorry for using this word.. even next time.. it was quite long since the train left and everyone went up stairs. I saw he was spinning around with his aid. Finding those brick that assist them. He couldn't find it. I went to help him. I called Pak Cik at first..but he was like 40 so i called him bang afterwards.. He told me he wanted to go to Seremban. I was shocked.. it was so far.. the last station..he wanted to go there to visit a friend. I bring him to another platform but we need to go up stairs. So we went to a escalator and stairs. I was so dump! I should know earlier he need the lift to go he couldn't walk up the escalator it was so fast. Stairs? i'm struggling already. Luckily there was A lift.

We walked quite far for it. Slowly holding his hand carrying his heavy bag! I couldn't imagine how he would need travel so far with the bag almost 5kg!!! I'm even sadden that time.. So we walked passed by few people. Even a lady give way to us. And two high school students(i think) allow us to use the lift first. Along the way I chatted with the guy. It feels like i'm chatting with a man with great knowledge. It feels like i'm talking to a Man without disabilities.

Then i brought him to the Police ( Polis bantuan ). There was a guy wearing ktm shirt old man. Asked where is he going. I answered for him, he is like ignoring. I was quite disappointed. Then the policeman was having the face of he had done this many times. I was worried. I gave the policeman the bag and he hold his hand pulling quite in a harsh way like pulling a 3 year old walking kid's hand. Kinda hard. I felt sorry. He then left with a question in ' where is his bag? ' i ttold him with the policemen then he thanked. Then i realized again he couldn't see his bag, i should had understand that and done better, should have make him feel everything he had is still safe.

Hmm, i learnt a lot and understand a lot. Questions are the most for me like  What if there was no one that time saw him? Why didn't those people assisted him? Shouldn't the public places have more facilities for them and others? ,and
Are you appreciating the times where you can see fireworks, your food, pet, home, your smile and yourself in the mirror?

We shouldn't see anyone by their race and religion. We are human with good heart. Don't sit there and not letting those in need stand there, offer your sit for them. It is hard to enjoy my life for having such a blessed one whenever i thought of this. I had been there, not one letting me to sit with my injured ankle, it was a hard 1 hour. You wouldn't want to try it. Just whoever is reading this.
Please help as those whom are in need.
